I remember when I thought about doing Twitch a year earlier (or video content in general) and then in August 2023 I finally decided to start. That first month I mostly used for testing things, setting things up (in OBS especially), learn more about Twitch terms and how everything works (only been on Twitch sometimes as a viewer before). From September I began streaming more regularly, playing around with a weekly schedules while trying to keep my viewership up as good as possible. That way I was also able to reach Affiliate status - even a few days earlier than expected - which was a cool milestone for me. Since then I continued streaming (mostly in Game- and Creative-category), sticking to a certain time of day (mostly), so people know roughly when to expect me online. On my way I also met other streamers, trying to raid and support each other. 👾

Another thing that I kind of expected but I can also confirm after these (only) 4 months is that I feel like I'm improving in speaking english more fluently, which is great! Also of course gaining more confidence in general being live in front of people I've never met before.

So yeah, I hope reading all of this can help all those of you who wanted to try streaming (especially on Twitch) for some time. ✨ And in case you're starting, feel free to ask me anything either via DA or IG and I'll try to help you out.

I thought about trying adopts for more than a year now, but I've been too busy with my regular stuff. So the MonsterMashup was a great opportunity to finally go for it.

For those of you who are not too familiar with adopts yet (I've been too): Adopts are pieces - mostly characters, animals or both - that you can collect by either paying a fix price or by placing a bid (like an auction). Once you won the auction, you will get exclusive access to the adopt/full-res piece and your name will be displayed on the deviation itself as her new owner! Shares are much appreciated as well.
